Review:

With this offering to the Asian Massive "gods" Dhamaal has placed themselves and the San Fran South Asian scene on the map - daring anyone to doubt their skills and deny their talent.

Review:

miles_gurtu: a trickily self-titled album by Robert Miles and Trilok Gurtu gives us something that skirts the outskirts (is that redundant?) of the Asian Massive/Underground umbrella. Presented here, is not drum n bass, not breakbeat, not even electronica in the conventional sense of the term. This is just pure electronic wizardry.

Review: Here is one that's a gem. TJ presents us with a dichotomous oxymoron: The Warm Chill. And yes, we are warmed by his chilling ability to move our soul with a melody that hides underneath the poetry of the ever changing drum line.

Review:

She is one of the first South Asian RnB artist who deserves recognition; the resounding example of the fact that us south asians can do it too. Her voice reminds you of Mariah, or TLC - but with a distinct flavor all its own. The commendable part is that she is doing it all on her own: no affiliations with popular hip hoppers, no work as their back up singer and no blasphemous ruining of Indian beats a la DJ Quik here.

Review:

If you've ever wondered how Sirocco is related to those enchanting eyes on the album cover, wonder no more. There is no relation. Sirocco literally means "a windstorm not experienced for many years". Being Christophe Goze's first album under his own label Anything Goze, the album title is a tribute to his achievements over his illustrious musical career.
