Review:

Oh, what's that mail in my account here: debut album of French - Arabic rapper Clotaire K...merges HipHop with oriental elements...has been working with the likes of State of Bengal, ADF and Natacha Atlas. Of course I have to listen to that! So I write back and within an instant, in my hands is a promo cd and vinyl (this guy is into Hip Hop, he cares about us djs!).

Review:

It's interesting to note the global desire of people to hear electronic tracks. Where once all you heard out of Arabia was Cheb Mami wannabes with tracks composed mainly of mediocre music and lackluster singing, you now have artists doing things such as this cd.

Review:

While AsianVibrations listeners might have heard some of these tracks elsewhere, they definitely have not savored them in such a cohesive and complete compilation such as this. This album is a cd burner's nightmare - never will you wish to rearrange, remove or add any tracks by re-burning.

Review:

Drum n Bass, Jungle livening up the crowds. This album shows the real effects that Asian Massive / Underground has had on the drum n bass community. Personally no album from that crowd is complete without some Asian sounds and it seem that VU realize that mine isn't a secluded point of view.

Review:

This is something on the periphery of our stream - really belongs more in classical jazz than asian massive but hey what the heck. It's an Asian (in the American sense of the word not the British) woman and there are flutes and tablas thrown in a few places - so why not.
